Introduction: The purpose of this essay is to identify, explain and describe communication and confidentially.
Communication: communication is a process used in order to pass on or transfer information around, this includes and takes place either at work, communicating with employees and colleagues or customers, or at home, communicating with your family and friends and many more. There are different methods used in communication, for example: communicating via internet, emails, phones, fax, TV, Meetings, one-to-one and more.
Verbal Communication and non-Verbal Communication
Verbal communication: this refers to the sound and language to verify a message, mostly speaking and listening.
Non-verbal communication: this is the process of communication through sending and recieving wordless messages, also physical behavior that supports communication through gestures, facial expression, eye contact and physical proximity.
Identify the different reasons people communicate:
The different reasons people communicate in work settings / organisation is when their working in teams, communicate to build and maintain relationships, socialise within family or community, to create understanding between ourselves and others, people use communication to share and gain information, knowledge and opinions, to express feelings and emotions, to encourage them, people communicate to learn and educate, to develop learning, people also communicate to satisfy their own needs
